Seattle staged a stunning comeback to defeat the Rams in extra time, securing their place in the postseason.

Overcoming a 30-14 deficit in the final period, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight victory.

While the Rams had become the first to earn a post-season spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their division's race with a 12-3 record, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the fifth seed with an 11-4 record.

Signal-caller Sam Darnold threw two interceptions but recovered to deliver two scoring throws, culminating in the tying score to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a six-point advantage at the break before Walker burst through for a 55-yard touchdown run for Seattle.

Rams cornerback Josh Wallace then took back Darnold's initial pick for 56 yards, leading to a one-yard score by Corum on the ensuing snap.

In the fourth quarter, a scoring pass from Stafford to Puka Nacua pushed the advantage to sixteen points, but Shaheed provided the comeback with a 58-yard punt return.

Darnold then found Barner in the end zone, and a converted two-point play sent the contest into overtime.

Although Nacua scored for his another touchdown in overtime, Smith-Njigba responded in kind to set up the game-winning score.
